MARKETING MANAGER
Full-time position at San Marcos, CA location or Rancho Mirage, CA location -- $55,000 annualized salary

OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION:
Cart Mart, Inc., a 55+ year old, award winning Golf Cart and Commercial Vehicle Distributor, is looking for an experienced Marketing Manager with a full marketing toolbox and an understanding of how to use those tools to grow a business and increase revenue. The Marketing Manager is responsible for the planning, development and execution of all our marketing strategies, marketing communications, and tactics, both external and internal.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • CRM Marketing Automation email campaigns
  • Work with Company leaders to develop effective market driven sales campaigns for both B2B and B2C for the purpose of customer retention and new acquisition.
  • Execute comprehensive marketing campaigns, including content development, advertisement development, media planning, online direct marketing, loyalty initiatives, inter-office programs, etc.
  • Initiates, develops and implements the creation of all customer-facing content including websites, social media posts, marketing collateral, PR and digital signage.
  • Ensure articulation of Cart Mart’s desired brand image and position, assure consistent communication of image and position inside and outside of the company.
  • Coordinate the appearance of all print and electronic materials such as letterhead, use of logo, brochures, etc.
  • Leverage content to develop and execute effective digital marketing materials and campaigns for website, blogs, social media, etc.
  • Work with outside vendors to ensure effective and ongoing media strategy including SEO, SEM, TV, Radio and Digital Media.
  • Manage marketing budget, submit for Co-Op and inventory of marketing collateral.
  • Manage social media presence, including daily Instagram posts, and programs to improve social media reputation and recognition.
  • Undertake continuous analysis of competitive environment and consumer trends.
  • Responsible for developing engaging content to include the creation of compelling dynamic written, visual, and short form video content.
  • Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Must have a strong marketing background, showing both new business development and trending growth of existing business.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and execute measurable marketing strategies and plans.
  • Ability to think strategically, solve problems and get the job done.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with other department leaders in a positive and constructive manner.
  • Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational and personal sales skills.
  • Demonstrated experience with CRM, Marketing Automation, and Content Management systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Pro DC.
  • Previous Design experience a plus.
  • Automotive or Powersports experience a plus.

San Marcos, CA

Inside Mechanic / Service Technician
Full-time, $12 - $19 per hour to start

Overview of the Position and Requirements

This candidate will regularly perform general maintenance, repairs and service of electric, battery, and gasoline vehicles. They must be able to troubleshoot and fix electrical components and to maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas at all times.

This candidate must have at least 3 years of experience rebuilding and overhauling small electric motors and engines, such as motorcycles, golf carts, small off road vehicles, etc. Golf cart/Industrial cart (Club Car, Yamaha, Taylor Dunn) experience preferred. The candidate must have the ability to accurately record repairs made, time spent, and parts used and must have great computer skills. They must be able to maintain good public relations with customers.
This candidate must be honest, conscientious, efficient, hard-working, naturally friendly, professional, have integrity and a high level work ethic, be a self-starter, extremely organized, detailed oriented, possess a positive “can do” attitude, have strong communication skills, and is highly computer literate.
Consistent follow up and follow through is an absolute requirement of this position and an integral part of this position requiring the candidate to be passionate about customer service and repairs.

 


San Marcos, CA

Assistant Service Manager
Full-time, $22.00 per hour to start

Overview of the Position and Requirements

At least 3 years assistant manager or manager experience. Golf car/industrial cart or Powersports industry manufacturer experience and knowledge required. Also they must have golf cart and vehicle, mechanic service knowledge, general maintenance, repairs and service of electric, battery, and gasoline vehicles, rebuilding and overhauling small electric motors and engines, such as motorcycles, golf carts, small off road vehicles, etc. Golf cart/Industrial cart (Club Car, Yamaha, Taylor Dunn.)
The candidate will be responsible for assisting the Service Manager in all aspects of Inside and Outside Service as well as Production areas. This candidate must have strong analytical skills, and must be able to help customers, technicians and service advisors on correct parts needed for repairs in a fast-paced environment.
This candidate plays a key role within our organization. Responsibilities include prioritizing maintenance, repairs, and rebuilds; creating and maintaining good customer relations, helping with questions or issues; act as liaison between all departments to ensure communication and accurate information is obtained for inventory and servicing purposes; oversee, manage, mentor, and support the employees in the Service and Outside Service Departments, answer all questions, assist wherever possible, train and cross-train them so they have the proper knowledge of parts, service, repair, inventory, ordering, looking up components, software, Company procedures, etc.; authorize time off and absences to ensure proper coverage at all times, oversee and coordinate work load to ensure accuracy and timeliness for customers; coordinate meal breaks; conduct and attend meetings as required, etc.
This candidate must be honest, conscientious, naturally friendly, professional, have integrity, be a selfstarter, extremely organized, detailed oriented, possess a positive “can do” attitude, and is highly computer literate and experienced in all aspects of writing and coordinating service and customer service.  They must be able to work well under pressure and be able to multi task. The candidate should be comfortable around an automotive environment, technically inclined, detail oriented, comfortable working with lots of numbers, well organized and genuinely compassionate to others and always aware.

On Communication
This candidate needs to be able to manage multiple projects with ease and accuracy, and be able to communicate with a variety of people from different backgrounds. A positive, professional and friendly attitude is a must.

 


San Marcos, CA

Class A Driver
Part-time, $17 - $21 per hour based on experience

Overview of the Position and Requirements
Cart Mart, a 55+ year old, award winning Golf & Commercial Vehicle Distributor, is searching for an experienced Class A Driver who is willing to drive a one-ton for a part-time position (approximately 20-25 hours per week depending on delivery needs) at their San Marcos location. This candidate must have open availability but the majority of the work will be evenings and some weekends. Most deliveries are local and there are every few overnights (maybe 2-3 per year.) This candidate must have a Class A CA Driver’s License with a good DMV record as well as maintain a good DMV record. They must have knowledge of all State and Federal Long Haul Driving Regulations as well as Company rules on long-haul driving and follow them at all times, maintaining driving logs, etc. They must maintain safety first at all times, loading and unloading trucks, driving, following all laws pertaining to safety and driving, etc.
They must have the ability to work well with all people, other employees, vendors, and customers, in person and at delivery sites. They must be organized, VERY friendly, professional, hard-working and have the ability to work long hours as required or requested, including possible overnight trips. A high level of accuracy to keep track of inventory delivered and picked up, process proper paperwork with accuracy and in a timely manner, honesty, integrity, account-ability, and a high work ethic are all required in this position. They must have the ability to handle multiple projects with efficiency and meet deadlines.
The candidate should be comfortable around an automotive environment, technically inclined, detail oriented, comfortable working with lots of numbers, well organized and genuinely compassionate to others and always aware. Consistent follow up and follow through is an absolute requirement of this position and an integral part of this position requiring the candidate to be passionate regarding deliveries and customer service.
